My dear friends, what are your Thanksgiving plans this year? Traveling to another state or possibly inviting the whole family over? Whatever you do I hope you have a wonderful time spending time with your friends and family. Sink in and enjoy them....
On that note, I have decided to take a little siesta from my blog for about a week. Hubby and I are leaving tomorrow for the 10 hour roadtrip to go spend Thankgsiving with my brother, who just returned from his 6 month deployment. Out of respect, I'm going to do my best to take this little time we all have together to dive in with my family and stay away from blogging, tweeting, etc. I can't really see my grandmother being happy with me sneaking away for even one second to blog ( which I'm still trying to get her to grasp the meaning).
I'll be sure to return with fun photos and stories to share with you in a few days. Til then, Happy Thanksgiving my dear friends!
Have a terrific well-deserved time out! More special because of your brother being there! Safe and speedy travels if you hit the road :)
ReplyDeleteWhat I need is a better Thanksgiving table-scape. This one is lovely!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Jude, I hope you have a wonderful thanksgiving as well :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you!! Enjoy it all - I have no specific plans other than to eat LOTS of pumpkin pie!! :) I may even sneak a piece for breakfast the next day, it's tradition and you can't break tradition! ;)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family!!
ReplyDeleteby the way, i've passed on a little award to you on my blog :)
We don't have Thanksgiving in Norway, but it sounds like a good tradition. You need a few good celebrations in the cold season.
ReplyDeleteYes- my grandmother stayed with me for the entire week... and tweeting, blogging- not really an option:).
ReplyDeleteEven though I did have her read the blog post that I wrote about her!
