Hail Storm

Five days ago, a hail storm made its way upon our little Auburn plains. It was so quick and so unexpected, my poor little garden barely made it. Spring storms in the south are so unpredictable this time of year...bringing in the plants every other night is really starting to get to us!

How's the weather in your area right now? I wanna know!

P.S. How cute is the garden mushroom that my gnome sits under? The hubs made it!

  1. The first pic with the gnome, the mushroom and the hail stones (stones? I don't know how you call them, haha)looks so magical!

p.s. It's fall right now in Argentina, so we're getting a lot of cold gray days lately.

  2. it stormed by us too, hailed and rained like crazy! h was on call so i was home alone :( bleh.. not fun. ah well im glad your gnome survived! xoxo jcd :: cornflake dreams

  3. when i first saw the pictures without reading i thought you had decorated your garden with quartz rocks or something! here in san francisco the weather is pretty hit or miss... the past two days it was drizzly and foggy but this morning is sunny as anything! tomorrow it's supposed to rain again though :(

  4. I can not even believe how ginormous those hail chunks are- terrible! The weather here stinks too- cold and we had snow last weekend- it was warmner/nicer in March than it is now:(

  5. I love your garden gnome, but such huge hail chunks!

  6. Hubs MADE that - I love it!!!

We are getting a touch warmer during the day, but the mornings and nights are chilly....looking forward to a warm summer night - my favorite!

That hail is out of control!! :)
