I've got short stumpy legs and big... girls so I'm a lover of the skinny jeans. I feel like they have lengthening qualities. Ive tried wide legs before but they're always cut wrong for my short legs and make me feel like a cartoon or like I'm wearing clown pants. I'm open to the possibility of finding cute ones though!

ReplyDeleteI'm on the skinny jeans bandwagon currently but I love some high-waisted wide legs - just gotta find the right pair that doesn't swallow my already too-short leggos. :)
ReplyDeleteI do like slim jeans because they're figure-flattering. But I also like jeans that are snug on top with a higher waist, and slightly flared below the knee (which makes wearing them over boots in the winter easier).

I love both! That's the best thing about fashion, is it always comes full circle. So if you have wide legs from 5 years back, you can pull those out. That is if you fit in them still (I do not :* ( ). It's always nice for a change.

ReplyDeleteUgh, I finally get confident in my skinny jeans and they go do this me! I have short legs so the wide leg trouser makes me look shorter! I do, however, love the look, just not on me.
ReplyDeleteDisastrous. I'm all for relaxed fits, because I don't like wearing tight jeans either, but the first picture screams one step away from 1976 bell bottoms.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of high waists either - on girls or guys.
My favorite jeans are slim through the hip, thigh and knee but just slightly flared at the bottom for boots, not even quite bootcut. As long as those don't disappear, I'm fine with any new trend.
